10 Policemen Killed By Colleague In Uruzgan

Local officials in southern Uruzgan province said that at least 10 policemen were killed by a colleague at a police outpost in Chinarto district on Tuesday.

Chinarto district chief Faiz Mohammad Hanafi told TOLOnews that the policemen were first poisoned by their colleague.

They said he poisoned their dinner and then shot them at about 3am on Tuesday morning.

Hanafi said the attacker also burned a police vehicle on the base and fled with a number of weapons.
