21 Insurgents Killed In Sar-e-Pul Operation

At least 21 insurgents killed in a joint Afghan Security Forces operation in Sar-e-Pul province of Afghanistan on Wednesday.

Ghulam Farooq Ahmadi, the Commander of the Third Brigade of the 209 Shaheen Corps, told TOLOnews that the clearance operation started on Wednesday and will continue until Kohistanat district of Sar-e-Pul province is cleared of insurgents.

According to Ahmadi, security forces are advancing toward Qalai Sokhta area of Kohistant district.

During the operation two security forces were wounded, Ahmadi added.
