25 Insurgents Killed in Clearing Operations: MoI

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) said in a statement on Monday that at least 25 insurgents were killed during operations across the country in the past 24 hours.

In addition, 9 other insurgents were injured.

The operations were launched in Kabul, Nangarhar, Kunar, Paktia, Wardak, Paktika, Kandahar, Uruzgan, Helmand, Herat, Ghor, Sar-e-Pul, Faryab, Baghlan and Kunduz provinces to clear the insurgents, according to the statement.

It said that most parts of the areas in the provinces were cleared of insurgents during the operations.

However, the statement did not provide more details about the operations or the casualties among security forces.
