36 Daesh Fighters Killed In Nangarhar Offensive


Roughly 36 Daesh fighters were killed in a military operation conducted by Afghan troops in Nangarhar province, provincial spokesman Attaullah Khogyani said Friday.

Khogyani added that the operation led by the Afghan army’s 201 Selab Corps was carried out in Shongari area in Achin district.

He said that the operations are still ongoing in Achin and Kot districts and that the security forces have recovered a number of weapons from Daesh rebels during the offensive.

According to him, the Afghan troops were supported by foreign troops air raids during the operation.
