FARAKHABAR: Ghani's Stance on Pakistan Discussed

In response to President Ashraf Ghani’s remarks about Pakistan at the Heart of Asia Conference in India, Sartaj Aziz, Foreign Affairs Adviser to Pakistan’s Prime Minister, said the Afghan leader was siding with India in saying what he did in a country “which is hostile to Pakistan”.

“One can understand their anxiety, and we also understand that (Afghan President) Ashraf Ghani making a statement on a soil which is hostile to Pakistan. Obviously he was trying to follow their preferences, what they would like to hear,” Aziz said.
