Five ANP Officers Killed After Heated Argument


A war of words between Afghan National Police (ANP) officers in Kandahar led to an armed confrontation between a group of officers, resulting in the death of at least five.

Four others were allegedly wounded during the incident.

According to officials, the skirmish took place in Breshna Kot area of PD9 in the provincial capital Kandahar on Thursday.

Samim Khpulwak, spokesman for the provincial governor, confirmed the incident, but gave no further details about the exact number of casualties.
