Former Herat Governor Released

Former Herat governor Sayed Fazlullah Wahidi who was abducted two weeks ago in Islamabad was released today (Friday).

Sources told TOLOnews that Wahidi was handed over by Pakistani police to the Afghan diplomatic mission in Peshawar at 3am on Friday.

According to reports, governor Wahidi had traveled to Islamabad along with his family to get visas to go to the UK.
