At least four civilians were killed in a roadside mine blast in Khak-e-Jabar district of Kabul province on Friday night, local officials said.
In addition, seven other civilians were injured in the blast.
The blast took place in Khak-e-Jabar after a civilian’s vehicle struck the mine. They had been traveling into Kabul from Logar province, security head of Logar, Qari Mohammad Wora said.
“The passengers were residents of Azri district of Logar province,” Wora said. “A woman is among the dead and two children were also among the injured people.”
The injured have been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, he said.
No group including the Taliban has claimed responsibility for the incident.
