The sixth Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan (RECCA) is scheduled to take place on September 3 and 4 in Kabul.
The aim of the summit will be to discuss trilateral trade and transit opportunities and challenges between Afghanistan, Pakistan and Tajikistan.
MoFA has said that preparations are in place for the summit, which is expected to host a number of foreign ministers, high-ranking officials and dignitaries from various countries.
It is believed that among the topics to be discussed during plenary sessions will be the issue of establishing an air transit hub in Kandahar.
