Head of Ghazni's Court Gunned Down


Mohammad Anwar Rahmani, head of central Ghazni province’s court, was shot dead by insurgents in central Wardak province on Saturday, Ghazni police said in a statement.

The incident took place when Rahmani was on his way from Kabul to Ghazni. Insurgents stopped his vehicle in Salar area of Wardak and shot him, the statement said.

However, so far no group including the Taliban has claimed responsibility for the incident.
