India Announces Delivery Of Three Mi-25 Helicopters


On the eve of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s official trip to Kabul, the Indian government announced the delivery of three Mi-25 attack helicopters to Afghanistan.

Sources within the Indian government said that three Mi-25 helicopters will be handed over to Kabul in the near future and another helicopter will be delivered to Afghan security forces soon.

Narendra Modi will visit Kabul on Friday and will inaugurate the new Afghan Parliament building which was funded by India.

The pledge of helicopters was made during the visit of Afghan National Security Advisor, Mohammad Hanif Atmar, to New Delhi in November.
