The strategy, released on Wednesday, charts the way forward for the joint force, said the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Martin Dempsey and Defense Secretary Ash Carter on Wednesday.
“Since the last … National Military Strategy was published four years ago, global disorder has trended upward while some of our comparative advantages have begun to erode,” Dempsey said.
