Key Commander Among Five Insurgents Killed In Kunduz Drone Strike

At least five insurgents including their commander Gul Khan, also known as Khanjar, were killed in a drone strike carried out by foreign troops in Kunduz province, local officials said in a statement on Wednesday.

The air strike was conducted in Moghul Qeshlaq area in Imam Sahib district when the militants were busy in insurgency activities, the statement said.

According to the statement, no casualty was incurred to civilians in the air raid.

Imam Sahim is among insecure districts in Kunduz, which often witnesses subversive activities by insurgents.
