MEHWAR: Rights Activists Criticize Kangaroo Courts

A number of civil society and human rights activists took to the streets in Kabul on Friday in protest over what they called kangaroo courts and called for the perpetrators in Farkhunda murder to be punished accordingly.

The activists urged government to end the culture of impunity in the country and send perpetrators of violence against women to prison.

In this episode of Mehwar, host Haris Jamalzada discusses the topic with Roshan Mohseni, head of a civil society organization.
