NDS Arrests 7-member Group Involved In Kabul Attacks


The National Directorate of Security (NDS) has arrested a 7-member group linked with Haqqani network that allegedly had a hand in recent attacks near Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, said a statement issued by the agency on Tuesday.

According to the statement, a number of explosives were also recovered from the suspects’ hideout, including 140 kilograms of explosive materials and other related devices.

The statement lists the arrested men’s names as Khalid, Esmatullah, Norrullah, Farhad, Wali, Bahadur and Khoshhal.
