President Ashraf Ghani and former president Hamid Karzai held a meeting at the Presidential Palace on Wednesday in a bid to iron out rifts that had developed between the two after the reported signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the National Directorate of Security (NDS) and Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
