Leaders of the national unity government spent their two years of rule embroiled in a number of political disagreements.
Disagreements and disputes arose over certain issues such as the implementation of reforms in the election system, rolling out the electronic national identity cards and convening the constitution amendment Loya Jirga. It is said that these disputes so far have not been resolved completely.
