Ten Talibs Killed in Wardak Operation

At least ten Talibs were killed in a military operation in central Wardak province, local officials said on Thursday.

The operation was conducted in Nirkh district of the province on Wednesday night after the Taliban were preparing to launch an attack, a spokesman for the provincial governor, Abdul Wali Noorzai said.

There were no civilians or military forces wounded in the operation, Noorzai said.

However, he did not provided further details.
