Tire Bursts As Safi Plane Lands In Kabul

Flights into and out of Kabul international airport were delayed for hours on Saturday after the tire of a Safi Airlines plane burst on landing.

The plane had been en route to Kabul from Herat. None of the passengers or crew were injured.

The Independent Directorate of Aviation confirmed that no injuries were reported and said authorities were trying to reopen the airport as soon as possible.
