Two Civilians Killed in Kunduz Blast


At least two civilians were killed in a blast in northern Kunduz province early Wednesday, local officials said.

In addition, 11 other civilians were injured in the blast.

The blast took place about 10am local time after explosive devices placed near Kunduz hospital were detonated, head of Provincial Council of Kunduz, Mohammad Yousuf Ayoubi said.

He did not provided further details.

The police have started investigations into the incident, according to officials.

However, no group including the Taliban has claimed responsibility for the blast yet.
